DOM BESS thinks for a second or two, then sums up his experience since making his second and, to-date, final Test appearance against Pakistan last summer.
“It’s like climbing Mount Everest and then falling off the back of it pretty quickly,” he says. “But that’s professional sport. “I’ve certainly matured as a result of it, I’ve got a lot stronger mentally – because you have to. I went from playing in front of 25,000 to not even getting picked for the first team at Somerset.”
