Champions Berkshire must do without top teens

THE kids have been more than alright in recent years – but Berkshire may have to do without their teenage hotshots as they begin their bid for a third successive Unicorns Championship crown.
In 2016, Surrey academy player Euan Woods hit an unbeaten 142 as James Morris’ side beat Lincolnshire to claim the title while a year later it was the turn of Middlesex youngster Jack Davies (127no) to star in a final as Berkshire bested the same opponents again.
