We’re back! Here for what promises to be a mouth-watering summer, The Cricket Paper is delighted to strap on its pads once again to bring you all the top action – from the MCG to your village square.
After a couple of years back in the pavilion, TCP is ready to resume its rightful place at the top of the batting order, bringing you all the key action from the international, domestic and regional scene, just as it has done since its launch in 2012.
And, this year, we have found our perfect partners to resume our innings with a winning combination. In conjunction with our friends at Wisden Cricket Monthly, The Cricket Paper is delighted to bring you this eagerly awaited Edition 1 to kick-start a bumper 2023.
Top exclusives, big-name interviews and ball-by-ball action, we’ve got the lot as we head into a domestic and international summer to remember.
We simply can’t wait for a summer of ‘Bazball’, starting with a one-off Test match against Ireland, followed by the mouth-watering Ashes series. Not to mention the World Test Championship final between Australia and India at The Kia Oval in June.
Then, we bring out the white ball for a T20 series with New Zealand before the Black Caps and Ireland provide the opposition over 50 overs as England prepare for the World Cup in India.
England Women are also in multi-format Ashes action before they too revert to the white ball with T20I and ODI series against the Aussies and Sri Lanka.
But it doesn’t stop there. Domestic action in the County Championship, Royal London Cup, T20 Blast and, of course, The Hundred, remains our bread and butter, while our team of top columnists will have their eyes and ears open to bring you all the big exclusives, as well as the best of club cricket.
And for this season, we’ve made a few top signings to help bolster our line-up with TCP favourite and England Test legend Derek Pringle joined by Kent’s County Championship stalwart Darren Stevens (above), award-winning journalist Taha Hashim, and Australian pundit and presenter Mel Farrell in bringing you all the views and opinions on the big stories from around the world.
