HASEEB Hameed has been told to keep focussing on the day job and not an England Test return.
The opener’s form for Nottinghamshire this season has led to suggestions of a potential England recall.
But head coach Peter Moores said: “I don’t want him to think about England if I’m honest.
“All players want to play for England, of course they do, but the biggest thing that gets in the way of doing that is thinking about it when you aren’t there.
