SHIMRON Hetmyer struck his maiden T20 century as Guyana Amazon Warriors inflicted a first defeat of the Caribbean Premier League season on Jamaica Tallawahs last Friday.
The 21-year-old smashed the third fastest CPL century in history – bringing up his ton with 11 fours and five sixes after only 47 balls to set an insurmountable total of 209-7.
The loss left Tallawahs captain Andre Russell fuming over the decision to move more home games away from Sabina Park to Florida where Warriors fans outnumbered their own.
