IT’S a measure of the importance of Twenty20 cricket in the modern era that Jersey and Guernsey decided to switch their annual clash – a match which has been held since 1950 – to the shortest format this summer.
They will now hope that that controversial decision will aid their quest when the first leg of T20 World Cup qualifying begins in Holland next week.
