MARK Wood insists he will never give up on Test cricket to concentrate on white-ball formats and admits he still holds out hope of playing in this winter’s Ashes series.
The 27-year-old has been restricted to just 10 Test appearances since making his debut in May 2015 following a succession of injuries, the most recent – a heel problem last summer – seeing him left out of England’s Ashes squad.
