WARWICKSHIRE’S short-term outlook in the County Championship might be bleak, but Adam Hose was playing the long game when he made the decision to jump ship to Edgbaston from Somerset last week.
With the likes of Ian Bell and Jonathan Trott, and under leadership duo Jim Troughton and Ashley Giles, the Bears had been tipped as a possible Championship contender. It hasn’t worked out: Warwickshire currently sit bottom of the pile, still searching for their first win after eight games.
