WITH senior players like Charlie Morris, Tom Fell and Jack Shantry in the squad, it speaks volumes that Worcestershire have handed the 2nd XI captaincy to spinner Ben Twohig, 19, for their T20 double header with Northants tomorrow.
The left-armer, who took his third 2nd XI five-for against Derbyshire last week, is improving dramatically – and was rewarded for his fine form by being named 12th man in Worcestershire’s eight-wicket win at Northants in the County Championship last month.
