ENGLAND bowler Chris Woakes could miss the first two Tests against South Africa this summer.
Woakes picked up a side strain in England’s Champions Trophy opener against Bangladesh last week that ruled him out of the tournament.
The recovery timeframe is four to six weeks, though Woakes has admitted it is likely to be towards the end of that period, meaning it is all but confirmed that he will miss the opening Test at Lord’s from July 6.
