CHRIS TREMLETT has urged England to treat Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad with kid gloves this summer – or risk losing them for this winter’s Ashes tour.
Both players missed a chunk of England’s most recent series to India as a result of injury, with Anderson ultimately sitting out five Tests in 2016. With Broad and Anderson boasting 835 wickets between them, the pair’s experience will be critical if England are to retain the Ashes and banish memories of their 5-0 humbling at the hands of the Aussies back in 2013/14.
