Following a recent study which suggests neurodiversity could be disproportionately high among elite athletes, Jo Harman speaks to Benny Howell, who has ADHD.
It’s estimated that around 15 per cent of the world’s population are neurodiverse – an umbrella term which includes autism, dyspraxia and dyslexia that describes people who experience, interpret and interact with the world in a way that isn’t considered ‘typical’ – with approximately five per cent having ADHD.
