Saltburn upset on first day of N. Yorks South Durham season

Saltburn, who comfortably won the North Yorkshire South Durham League last season by 45 points, were on the receiving end of an opening day upset after they lost to Hartlepool by five wickets.
The champions were bowled out for 148 in 49 overs with 40 from Ben Ainsley being the only score of note. Jonny Bushnell took 3-23 for Hartlepool, while there were two-fors for Paul Barathwaite, Matthew Maloy and Charlie Scorer.
