ACC Premier Cup underway in Oman THE ASIAN CRICKET Council Men’s Premier Cup kicked off in Oman on Friday with wins for the hosts, UAE, Hong Kong and Nepal. In the opening round of fixtures, Oman scraped home by three runs against Bahrain, successfully defending 177-3, before UAE chased down 179 for the loss of three wickets to defeat Kuwait. Hong Kong hit 201-7 against Qatar and then restricted them to 175-8 to win by 26 runs and Nepal chased down 144 to beat Malaysia by five wickets with four balls remaining.
