Marsh and Maxwell hand Aussies consolation win

MITCHELL Marsh’s 96 and Glenn Maxwell’s four wickets set up Australia’s consolation 66-run victory over India in the third and final ODI at Rajkot. Australia batted first and got off to a flier as David Warner hit 56 off 34 balls, and although he was trapped lbw attempting a ramp off Prasidh Krishna, Australia reached 90-1 after the powerplay. Steve Smith and Marsh manoeuvred the spin of Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav with great skill, and brought up a 100-run partnership off 93 balls.
