Lizelle looks to light up in title run-in for Blaze

SOUTH AFRICAN batter Lizelle Lee has signed to play for the Blaze in the final rounds of this summer’s Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. The 31-year-old retired from international cricket in 2022 and has recently been plying her trade for Trent Rockets in the Hundred. The powerful opening batter will bring stacks of experience to the Blaze and will replace fellow South Africa Nadine de Klerk after the all-rounder was called up for national duty on the Proteas’ current tour of Pakistan.
