Flower is named RCB head coach

FORMER ENGLAND coach Andy Flower has been named head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. Flower was in charge of the England men’s team from 2009 to 2014, winning the 2010 World T20 and Ashes series home and away as the Test side climbed to the top of the ICC rankings in 2011. In recent years, he has been part of various shortform franchise set-ups but was back in international cricket earlier this summer, joining Australia as a consultant during their tour of England for the World Test Championship final and Ashes.
