ECB says sorry after report reveals ‘widespread’ discrimination in cricket

The Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket’s long-awaited report has demanded reform after finding “deeply rooted and widespread forms” of institutional and structural racism, sexism and class-based discrimination in the game in England and Wales.

The ICEC published its findings earlier this week after more than 4,000 people responded to its call for evidence, with one in two respondents saying that they had experienced discrimination in the game.
