Too much cricket – myth or reality?

Time to pause. For many domestic cricket supporters, the past seven weeks of continuous County Championship action has been bliss – an all-too-brief throwback to a bygone era of red-ball dominance.
But as attention turns to the less taxing endeavours of the T20 Blast, many players and coaches across the 18 counties will be relieved to see the most demanding period of the season behind them. A period of relative respite beckons.
