NOTTINGHAMSHIRE are to release seam bowler Jack Blatherwick at the end of season.
Blatherwick, 22, has struggled to make an impact at first-team level – making two first-class and three List A appearances and taking three wickets.
Nottinghamshire’s director of cricket Mick Newell said: “The club has invested fully in Jack’s development but, ultimately, it hasn’t quite worked out for him as we’d hoped.”
