DESPITE our visit from the Beast of the East last week, preparations for the new season at Leicestershire are going very well.
There have been a number of changes in the coaching structure at the Fischer County Ground this week with John Sadler appointed as assistant coach, Matt Mason as head bowling coach and Carl Crowe as spin bowling coach/head scout. And the arrival of the exciting Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi this week for the T20 Blast competition has given everyone a huge lift.
Next week, we fly out to the Desert Springs resort in Spain for a bit of warm weather...
