DURHAM will be frustrated not to be playing in the opening week but they need to make sure they channel their anger. There is still some bad feeling from fans about the relegation and points deductions but the players can’t let that get to them now.
They’ve just got to take it one ball at a time and win more balls than the opposition. They have to break the game down to its simplest form and make sure they don’t get ahead of themselves. If you do, that’s when you make mistakes.
