Edwards is breaking down barriers

It’s no surprise that Charlotte Edwards is a coach in demand. After leading the Southern Brave to a first Hundred title last month, she’s heading into this winter’s WBBL on the back of three consecutive titles, with the Brave’s win following her success with the Southern Vipers in a tournament bearing her own name, and coaching the Mumbai Indians to the trophy in the inaugural WPL.
Earlier this year, she stated that she would love to coach in the international game. But could she also become the first female head coach of a men’s side in first-class or franchise cricket?
