I’VE used the North Gate at Lord’s many times so was delighted to hear that MCC were to rename it in honour of Rachael Heyhoe-Flint, one of the major figures of women’s cricket.Having a permanent memorial like that is fitting for a cricketing pioneer like her, especially when it is a landmark people will have to mention by name.
