MIDDLESEX may have struggled in the opening weeks of the Championship season but Steve Finn has already had double cause for celebration in 2021.
Not only has he resumed his red-ball career with the 2016 County Champions with a bang, but his beloved Watford FC – nicknamed the Hornets – have also reclaimed their place in the Premier League after securing promotion from the Championship back at the end of April.
Now all he needs is an upturn in Middlesex fortunes in the domestic game’s longest format.
