Silverwood is concerned over risk of burnout

ENGLAND head coach Chris Silverwood has urged his players to protect themselves from the risk of burnout after a truncated, yet congested, summer schedule. Silverwood’s side have played 18 games across three formats this summer inside 71 days.
Since the final game of the schedule, the ODI with Australia on Wednesday, nine England players have flown out to play in the Indian Premier League with winter tours against South Africa, Sri Lanka and India currently being discussed.
