MICHAEL Atherton’s son, Josh De Caires, is excited for the future after being handed a three-year professional contract by Middlesex.
The 18-year-old will combine his cricketing career with his University studies.
“I’m really excited to have been given the opportunity to be a pro at Middlesex,” De Caires said.
“I’m looking forward to what the next three years have in store.”
