All-round ace Narine riding high at home for Trinbago

SUNIL Narine clubbed a half-century and starred with the ball as Trinbago Knight Riders made a perfect start to the Caribbean Premier League, beating Jamaica Tallawahs by seven wickets. Narine is now synonymous with franchise cricket and whether it be in India or the Caribbean, he continues to produce as a pinch-hitter for the Knight Riders franchise. The 32-year-old has thrashed his way to two half-centuries in two games with his hometown side taking top spot in the first global league to start in the Covid-19 era.
