IT hasn’t been the easiest of rides for James Vince in the past 12 months – but a Big Bash final with the Sydney Sixers might go some way to easing the pain of his recent England snubs.
The Hampshire star has impressed on his return to Australia, averaging 48 as the Sixers have enjoyed a storming start to the second half of their season.
Back-to-back scores of 74 and 75 not out have seen Vince’s reputation redeemed Down Under after an ultimately underwhelming showing in last winter’s Ashes.
