Kohli and Co have to find Wadekar’s winning formula

VIRAT Kohli and his India team will this weekend be trying to channel the fighting spirit of their former captain Ajit Wadekar, who died this week aged 77.
Wadekar gained national acclaim when, in 1971, he led India to series victories in the West indies and England, the latter triumph being their first on these shores.
The weather, unlike this summer, favoured them, however, with their victory in the third and final Test at the Oval following two matches when they were rescued by the rain.
