THESE are testing times for the Professional Cricketers’ Association. On Tuesday it was announced that with chief-executive David Leatherdale taking a break from his duties to recover from stress, the nonexecutive chair man, Matthew Wheeler, would temporarily be taking on more of the association’s business.
Everybody involved in the game will join W heeler in wishing Leatherdale a complete and speedy recovery and the PCA is probably fortunate that it has capable deputies to call on, especially at a time when professional ...
