LEICESTERSHIRE are in mourning at the passing of former player and cricket photographer David Munden this week, at the age of 61.
David, a left-handed batsman and leg-spin bowler, represented the club’s Second XI from 1975 to 1981 and toured the West Indies with England Young Cricketers in 1976.
On his retirement, David took to photographing the games and became a highly popular and much-respected colleague in and around press boxes before Parkinson’s Disease cruelly forced him to stop.
