Somerset CEO Lee to step aside

SOMERSET chief executive Lee Cooper is to stand down from his position as soon as a suitable replacement can be found.
Succeeding Guy Lavender on the board in June 2017, Cooper has presided over an eventful spell in the role since taking over as CEO in August of the same year, threatening legal action against the ECB during Middlesex’s appeal over relegation while also controversially enforcing price increases on membership and T20 tickets.
