WHILE his place in the Australian squad doesn’t seem secure, Matt Renshaw did his best to prove himself to the bowlers this week by taking part in a net.
The opener has not been making many runs in the Sheffield Shield this year and the selectors decided to throw him to the lions with the pace quartet of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Jackson Bird all putting their backs into Renshaw with highperformance boss Pat Howard and national coach Darren Lehmann watching.
