LUKE FLETCHER cannot wait to get back to playing cricket after being given the all-clear to start his comeback.
Nottinghamshire seamer Fletcher, 29, missed the second half of the 2017 campaign after being struck on the head by a powerful hit from Sam Hain in Notts’ T20 Blast game at Birmingham Bears in July.
Thankfully, he is gearing up to return to training, with fitness tests next month. Fletcher said: “I’m back in full gym training now and I can’t wait to get working with the rest of the lads, which will give me that added motivation....
