I GLANCED at the international fixture list for 2018 and wondered what Australia were doing here. Then I realised that the series wouldn’t include a single Test match.
To me it’d make sense not to have a non-Ashes Australia tour but one from the likes of Ireland or Afghanistan.
For now they have Test status they need the extra games to develop.
The same goes for Bangladesh who should be granted a three-Test tour.
