A COMPOSED 76 from Joe Weatherley for KENT against MCC UNIVERSITIES continued his superb recent form as he targets a return to the Championship squad.
The game was drawn, but play lasted long enough for Weatherley to make his mark, having previously scored three successive centuries for the 2nds.
The 20-year-old, on a season’s loan from Hampshire, played in the County Championship earlier in the season but has found a rich vein of form in the second tier.
