Div Two leaders hit by double retirement

MICHAEL Lumb, one of England’s heroes from the 2010 World T20 success, has been forced to retire because of an ankle injury.
The 37-year-old Nottinghamshire batsman, who played 27 T20s as well as three ODIs for the Three Lions, moved to Trent Bridge from Hampshire in 2012, having started out at Yorkshire.
In first-class cricket, Lumb has amassed more than 11,000 runs in 210 matches, with his career-best 221 not out coming for Notts against Derbyshire in 2013.
