At last: Sam Northeast makes his Hampshire bow today

IT IS two months since Sam Northeast put pen to paper at Hampshire and he says he can’t wait to make his debut against Worcestershire today.
The 28-year-old batsman has been an excellent performer for Kent over the years and was highly sought-after when he declined to sign an extension at his home county last year.
