PAUL FARBRACE insists England will stay in close contact with Haseeb Hameed even though the young opener looks certain to lose his place when the squad for next week’s first Test against South Africa is announced tomorrow.
England’s selectors look set to discard Hameed when they meet today to discuss the team for the first Test of the summer, starting at Lord’s on Thursday.
