Yorkshire County Cricket Club have created a new LGBTQ+ supporters group in a bid to further increase participation and inclusion across the county.
The group, Yorkshire & Proud, is part of a range of steps being taken at Yorkshire to support equality and diversity in all areas of the club.
“The Yorkshire family is delighted to launch our Yorkshire & Proud LGBTQ+ supporters group and this is an important step towards ensuring Headingley is a welcoming place for all,” said Becca Garrard, the club’s Digital Content Executive and founder of Yorkshire & Proud.
