THERE WAS a double century for Hornchurch batter George Hankins as the Essex Premier League’s joint leaders comfortably defeated Loughton by 157 runs. Haskins hit 201 from 137 balls, including 28 fours and five sixes as the home side piled on 403-7 from their 50 overs at Harrow Lodge Park. His knock included stands of 136 and 124 with Jalpesh Vijay (87) and Billy Gordon (42) for the third and fourth wickets respectively, Hankins eventually being dismissed with the score on 392.
