Three in three as Marple miraculously avoid defeat

Marple managed to spectacularly snatch a tie from the jaws of defeat in their Cheshire County League Division Two clash with Cheadle Hulme. With three balls remaining and Cheadle on 144-7, requiring one run to win, Marple managed to take the final three wickets to leave the match tied. Jack Grundy dismissed Tom Balderson LBW before Scott Howarth was run out from a direct hit next ball.
