CHRIS Edwards has been awarded a British Empire Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his services to learning disability cricket.The Caldy cricketer has represented the England and Wales Learning Disability Cricket Team, captaining them to a 5-1 victory over Australia in the 2015 Inas International Cricket Series in Melbourne in which he was named player of the series.He followed up the announcement of his British Empire Medal by hitting 41 not out and taking three wickets for Caldy.Edwards was keen to say how thankful he was for the support he’s rec...
