SPONDON skipper Adam Finlay believes his side were far from their best this season, but that didn’t stop them lifting the Derbyshire Premier Division title for the first time in 12 years.
Finlay’s side sealed their historic triumph after an emphatic six-wicket victory against Alvaston and Boulton last weekend, extinguishing any chance second-placed Ticknall had of stealing the crown.
