WITH just three games left of the Cornwall Premier League season, all-rounder Ant Angove has found form at the perfect time to aid Penzance’s title bid.
Following an injury-ravaged season, the 30-year-old starred with bat and ball as the tabletoppers overturned bottom club Falmouth by eight wickets last weekend.
Penzance endured a frustrating start to the first innings as their opponents cruised to 101-0, but Angove was instrumental in his former side’s collapse, taking 4-4 – including a hat-trick – before going on top-score with 49.
