Haverhill aren’t over the hill yet

SKIPPER Anthony Phillips insists he will continue to look up the table rather than over his shoulder after Haverhill’s recordbreaking first half of the season.
Last weekend they secured an eight-wicket win over Lakenheath in the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship Division One to make it three victories on the spin.
That means they are sitting pretty up in sixth in the standings – their best-ever finish in this league is seventh.
And with Mistley up next, skipper Phillips is confident there is better still to come.
