Sefton want to build on historic summer

SEFTON Park captain Richie Forsyth hopes England’s success at the World Cup will filter down and inspire more youngsters to take up the sport.
The club opened a new net facility at Croxteth Drive this week and anticipate copious numbers of cricketers will want to experience the game.
Participation is a concern for cricket at the grassroots level, but Forsyth believes England’s dramatic triumph over New Zealand, combined with their new facilities, will bring more people to the club.
