Mallards will fold at end of year

VAUXHALL Mallards will fold at the end of the season, the East Anglian Premier League announced.
It’s been less than a year since they won the Carter Cup Final, but the club will cease to exist once they’ve fulfilled their remaining nine EAPL fixtures.
Mallards were original members of the league, they won their first title in 1999 and have been crowned champions on four other occasions.
League secretary Andy Abbott released the statement condemning their fate after being unable to field a team against Frinton last weekend.
