Montrose merger sours

AFTER co-habiting harmoniously for over a quarter of a century, relations have soured between cricketers and their rugby-playing counterparts in Montrose.
Montrose and District Cricket and Rugby Club was officially formed 26- years ago when the two different sides made the decision to merge, but it has been claimed that the setup has been steadily weighted towards rugby for some time.
